A Boat Like No Other

Last Mango is not just a boat; it’s a masterpiece born from the collaboration of two of the biggest names in boat building - Billy Freeman and Roy Merritt. This unique 42-foot vessel, powered by quad Yamaha 350s, cruises at an impressive 40 knots with a top speed of 60 knots. Jimmy Buffett, himself, envisioned its custom design inspired by the tranquil seafoam green waters of the Bahamas.

“Jimmy was the ultimate adventurer,” says Captain Vinnie Lasorsa, who worked alongside Buffett for over 20 years. “Jimmy always said, ‘You don’t know unless you go.’”

A Journey of Discovery

Built as a private escape for Jimmy Buffett, Last Mango journeyed to and through some of the most remote and uncharted areas of the Bahamas; places few have ever seen. Now as the boat continues its journey, Vinnie and Sarah LaSorsa are sharing the magic of those special destinations with others. On the boats recent trip from New York to Florida, Last Mango chronicled the adventure, highlighting stops that held special meaning to Jimmy.

Giving Back in Jimmy’s Honor

At its heart, Last Mango represents more than just adventure. It stands for the power of giving back. As a premium sun protection and apparel brand, Last Mango supports over 50 charities, continuing Jimmy’s legacy of helping others.

“Jimmy always believed that it takes no more time to see the good side of life than the bad,” Vinnie explains. “You get out what you give in life, and Jimmy was a living example of that.”

Follow the Adventure

Although Last Mango has now made its way to Florida’s warmer waters, the story doesn’t end here. You can follow Captain Vinnie and the Last Mango crew on their journey, sharing stories of adventure, inspiration and giving back; one nautical mile at a time.
